League of Legends Worlds 2021 Is Coming

The annual, insanely entertaining League of Legends Worlds 2021 is creeping up. Check out EsportsAUS pick of teams to keep an eye on and a handy schedule!

The League of Legends Worlds 2021 is coming! You know what that means, right? It's time to start planning your viewing schedule. If you're not already convinced, here are some reasons why you should tune in this year:

- The best teams around the world will be competing for their chance at glory.

- The matches will be streamed live with no ads or breaks.

- All games will be played on Patch 11.19 and higher with many exciting combinations to look out for!

Commencing on October 5th, 2021, Worlds brings the best 22 teams in the world together to compete and battle it out for the biggest title of the year. Last year, DWG KIA took home first place at Worlds and became world champions! This year they're back to defend their title against other teams that are just as tough. Will another team take over or will we see history repeat itself? You'll have to tune in this October to find out.

The teams we think are interesting and that you should keep an eye on are:

Damwon Gaming (DWG KIA - South Korea), being last years world champions, their lineup is lethal and are on top of their game.

T1 (South Korea), are back having sat out of last years tournament. Although they may not be hot favourites, they still pack a huge punch and are an incredible team. They will be a team to watch as it is hard to say what they may come up with.

FunPlus Pheonix (FPX - China), after winning the summoners champion 2019, FPX have been a favourite to watch for the last couple of years. This team, although maybe not at a DWG level can still play some incredible LoL and just might have some sneaky combinations to take on.

Mad Lions (Europe), one of the marine EU teams in the line-up, Mad Lions are an incredible team. They did drop early in last years Worlds but they are back and ready to redeem themselves.

To make it easy for you, we have listed the tournament schedule below!
